THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite. 

And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.”

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 

While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. 

And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.”
